Do I need to install any software for the usb ports and card readers to work on my Mac Pro? Frustrating but if you take the time to remove items one at a time and test or remove all non essentials and reconnect one at a time you'll find the culprit. I would not be surprised at all if the fix is something as outrageous as a new fan contoroller, power supply, motherboard, 25 reinstalls of Windows 7, or whatever. so I'm am trying to get the Win7 computer to read the card directly. http://www.overclock.net/t/240312/dell-2407wfp-hc-media-card-reader It is a SDHC card so I guess that is the problem. They have USB in the frames, but no card readers. In Device Manager even I go thru each tab, I get some cluse as to what some of the drives are for. The Card Reader Specifications only state 2000/XP.
